Default Got some questions.

I'm not an owner of an IS300 yet, but I would like to get a few questions answered.

1. Any year matter or all they all the same? I was thinking either a 2004 or 2005 depending on price.

2. Is it rare to see the factory Nav in these cars?

3. What do you guys like about this car?

4. Is there a manual?

1: Aside from the exterior color changes, which can be found here: http://www.toyotareference.com/lexusis/2001-2005.

I would stick with the 2004-2005 if possible, or 2002-2003 as a second choice.

2001: No Manual Offered, No Navigation Offered
2002: SportCross Introduced, Smoked Taillights offered on certain colors, front grille changed, major interior upgrades to address complaints about interior quality, auto-dimming mirrors added, front center armrest added, optional full leather offered with piping, ride height increade 0.6", optional VSC added, spring rate increased on manual, Steering ratio revised, ECU programming updated and underbody plastic revised (prevents cracking).
2003: SportDesign model Introduced, redesigned cupholders
2004: SportDesign Headlights, Taillights and Fogs changed to standard on all cars, memory seats added, storage compartment replaces lint collector, various interior color tweaks, CD changer redesigned, scheduled maintenance light added and auto-door locks added.
2005: LSD no longer offered on manual

2: Yes, very rare

3: Smooth, Styling, easily upgraded and very reliable.

4: Yes, but it is rare as well - although not quite as rare as the factory Nav.

So, the ultimate find would be a SportCross Manual with Factory NAV.

Good luck with your search.

Thank you so much for your help! I appreciate it!

I guess you're right LOL I barely see SportCross's here towards the northeast... If I can't get to an 04-05 IS300 NAV with either Manual or Auto, I might as well save up for a plane ticket to California They probably have some down there.

Is a manual conversion difficult and pricey?
