Did they just announce this model? I had no idea this was in the works. Is it only available with a manual transmission?

Also, the light coming out of those headlights in the pics is so blue that the pic is either photoshopped or taken just as the lights were ignited. They look like somebody dropped a 7000K HID kit in there, and last I checked, the IS reflectors don't give off color flicker.

I like the new colors, though. Isn't Thundercloud the metallic gray on the Neiman Marcus SC430?

it says at the bottom of the interior/exterior page that it is an e-shift model shown with navigation...i would assume that means its available with both auto and manual

Hello everyone. The IS300 Sportdesign will be available this April for a limited time. It will feature 3 colors, Black Onyx, Crystal White, and new Thunder Gray. It will also have available 3 interiors: ivory, black and new gray. The Sportdesign will be exclusive to the manual and automatic sedans only, no sportcross. We are looking forward to receiving the IS Sportdesign and I am told Lexus will up the number of Thunder Gray/gray made available.

I'm not sure you would know this, (then again I am talking to a moderator) but there was a limited edition SC430 a couple Christmases ago available only through the Neiman Marcus catalog. It was called "Silver Bell" and it had a reddish, but not quite saddle interior. There was only 100 available for sale through a phone order, which sold out immediately. An awesome color combination, if you ask me, but anyways, I was told that the "Thunder Gray" is very close to that color. Lighter in shade like Millenium Silver, but different. I can't wait to see it in person either. Especially with the new gray interior.
