Hello guys, New to the Is world. I just bought my first Is300 over the summer, been in my garage over winter. Has 187,000 miles but runs great. Im taking it into a tuner shop to get checked out and get new belts, sparks/wires, gaskets(some oil leaks) & compression test, So basically the works if needed. Car was bought with unknown history. Previous owner didn't know how good these cars were or how rare a 5speed is, so i grabbed it for a pretty good price. I can put money into making her solid.
It'll be getting a little done already but since it's taken apart, what else should i get replaced?. Again, the history is unknown. I dont need to go crazy on mods but performance but nice upgrades that relate to reliability & fun daily driving are my only only goals. It has a short ram intake and axle back exhaust thats it really. So any advice on what you would also get done on a 187K mile 5speed Is300 getting new belts, gaskets... etc and oh Ill replaced rotors/pads too.
