Hey yall i was planning on getting an is300 and i wanted to know what the cost of maintenance was about. comparable to any other non lexus cars?

Depends what yr car are you looking at what kind of services have already been done on it etc. Far as my experiance i bought my IS when it was 2yrs old and had 22k miles i havent had any problems with it and just did the regular services on it. My only other car was a 4runner and it never had any problems either.

 

i notice after owning 3 lexus's... its just the same as any other car..

just price of parts cost a lil more thats it

 

The IS300 probably the best Lexus in my book so far, will one minor campaign in 2001(plastic shield under the car). Well, they released the car in Europe 2 years before the U.S so they got all the bugs figured out. If you just do the regular maintenance you will be fine, probably the cost of maintenance will be less than another car brand if the original owner did all the services.
