Exclamation Misfiring !

Question, check engine light came on my car and misfire codes PO300-PO306 come up, changed my spark plugs and they were flooded with fresh oil, after i cleaned it all up and changed the plugs, took it for a drive and it started misfiring and acting up again...any idea what else could be wrong ?

Ignore what these guiys are saying above ...

Engine flush...? really sheesh...

The only thing worse than the wrong info is incomplete advice/ info... with nothing to support why?

-Why would an engine requiring "flush" suddenly start misfiring & throwing codes..?
-Why should a 'bad' valve cover gasket do the same thing....suddenly?
-Why would 'carbon buildup' do this.... AGAIN..all of a sudden...& how does one come to that conclusion based on the info provided?

ok...
when it started missing AGAIN with the new clean plugs etc... did you get codes?

if so what are they?

0300-0306 are multiple cyl misfire codes

0300 is the Random cyl. misfires detected, and 0301-0306 is the individual code for each cyl. so you should have 7 codes total.

i'd like to know how far you got on the new plugs before the car went funky & started missing again ?'

if you are getting the same codes again you should pull a couple of plugs to check them... if they are again wet with oil there is a problem that an "engine flush' will do jack all for...

check the plugs again & report back....

would be good to know some basics also ..
-how many miles on motor?
-what condition is m otor
-Any engine mods?
-Any previous problems like this ?

hope to be able to help,..... i just fixed a misfire problem i struggled with for over a year... turns out it was bad set of injectors i had installed.....the last thing i wanted to believe was the problem was in fact.... the problem...and should have been checked 1st thing....
