Installing jvc double din in 2001 is
Im goin to install this with my buddy, and i ordered the metra kit and metra harness.

i think jvc's you just have to put the parking wire on a ground. you dont need a harness but you will have to bypass the factory amp

Why would he need to bypass the factory amp if he's using the Metra harness?

Thanks i Got it installed and I only had to ground the parking brake wire to bypass the p. Brake
