Pull the bolt on one of your caliper's slide pins, and rotate it so you can do an inspection. With a small C-Clamp, the caliper piston should push back pretty easily. I was able to do it by hand.

Here's what the pad clips should look like:

Remove 1 of the 2 bolts, and the caliper will rotate exposing the pads and pistons.

Here's a pic of the caliper removed completely (you only need to remove 1 bolt for your purposes).

IIRC, the slide pin bolt gets torqued to 25 FT-LBS.
Ok ill definitely check that when i get off tomorrow morning.....its been happening though b 4 i changed my rotors and pads im pretty sure and its just gotten worse....does an IS have a front axle? u think it could may be a strut tower bar that holds the strut/shock? my ABS came on after i got my wheel bearing on the front right put on...and went away now my check engine is just on it was on b 4 from the gas cap but now i gotta get it checked again...& the Trac Off was flashing......weird it stopped to though n went away?

no front axles... Probably your brakes.... only a wheel bearing or brakes could slow response of the front wheels...

feels like a moving part....but what would it be wit the brakes? what do you mean when u say probably ur brakes?? feels like its dragging and like something is about to give way...feels like ur trying to move forward but something is slowing u down alot i mean i really gotta push down on the gas hard....and when i let off i lose speed very fast i cant just cruise....u can hear it the most and the worst when driving in a residential or parking lot....

He's probably talking about a sticky caliper dragging on the rotor. Pretty much what I was saying earlier.

Raise the front end off the ground and spin the wheels. They should spin freely. If they don't, it should be the brakes since you've already had the wheel bearings inspected. Are your rotors discolored, or do they look normal? If it is a sticky caliper, I have no idea how the other shops weren't able to find it. Good luck finding the problem tomorrow.
