Default Automatic to Manual conversion

I want to make my IS manual but i have a few questions. 1. Is it worth doing? 2. How much would it be to complete? Any info would be helpful.
Thanks!

It's all personal preference. Doing a swap like that in just about any car will definitely hit your wallet hard but its all up to you in the end. If you can find a totaled 5spd IS in a junk yard or pick up a salvage car, then by all means, swap it out. Make sure you do it right and do all research. Or just get a trustworthy shop to do it. Good luck man.

i think a 5spd is more fun to drive. but thats your call like baadhabit said. your gonna be around a couple thousand doing it and it wont be easy finding the parts. best bet sell auto and buy a manual

I did r154 4 months ago and to be honest with, I don't know why they even made this car an auto. the 5 speed is a blast. I love it.

If your swapping in a tranny I would not use the OEM one. I would go W58 Or R154. I love my R154
