Default Where do you find part numbers?

I guess I could find something in google, but I was wondering where you guys go to find part numbers, diagrams, and a place to buy oem parts. I could go to the dealer, but I do not want to be raped in price.

my first project is to research if the diff from an auto will bolt up to a manual car...and vise versa..I want to get some extra parts in the garage since its hard to find important stuff

Also, do we have a w55 or w58 trans? I read somewhere that we can use either trans on our cars with the same bell housing..can anyone confirm?

Awesome! Thanks! It turns out that the diffs do have the same part number..that's good news..any word on the trans? Thanks for clarifying the trans, now I know that the supra na has the w58 trans..I also read that the w55 trans is considered weak since it is aluminum and the w58 is steel..so ideally, if I needed a new trans and if I knew that it bolted up to my bell housing, I would go with the w58, in theory.
