I'm buying a 02 Lexus is300 5 speed has 108,000 miles for 6800 looks clean but what should I look for in the Lexus so I don't get ripped off and btw he said the abs distributor is broken and that I would need a new one

IS is a pretty solid car, check for all the normal things you would check for, ticks, rattles, leaks. 6800 is a good price assuming the rest of the car is on point. ABS distributor? whats he mean by that?

Check to see if the 90k maintenance has been done. So, ask if the timing belt and water pump were changed recently. If it hasn't, that's a $1600 job to get done at a dealer, or much less if you're willing to do it yourself.
