Question Driver's Side Window Questions

My driver's side front window is currently coming off track constantly, I pulled off the door panel and after close inspection I noticed everything mechanically is fine but the actual plastic grips (tabs that pinch the glass at the bottom and sit on the window track) are broken, my question is where is a good place to find these? Do I need a whole new window? Any info or part numbers would be much appreciated. When looking at the glass it's located at the very bottom, seems to be a total of 3 tabs held on by what looks like black glue, 1 on each side left and right on the glass plus one it the middle.

I sourced mine at a junkyard, carefully remove them as you could break the glass. Or you could go to your parts store, in the HELP! section they have replacement sash's, use a slow setting epoxy to bond the new ones on, bolt them in while epoxy is setting and adjust ur window to your liking. Ive had this haapen to me on 3 different cars. Use a bit of loctite on the sash hardware, as if it comes loose, you will encounter the same problem, and have to repeat your repair

I want to remind you how gently you must be when working on the glass, take your time, and have plenty of razor blades, or thin single strand wire on hand

So I need to remove the broken tabs, then essentially re-glue the new ones on the existing glass? This is somewhat barbaric for a lexus lol

Yes, it is barbaric, your other option is to buy a complete window, but if you are capable, the repair will yeild the same results
