Ok, so I installed my headers. Sounds terrible because the y pipe gasket that came with the headers sucks. So I need a solution. I hear oem gaskets are the best. Lmk and please post links, I can't find the gaskets on goolge.

OEM would be the best. But you know how you kill the problem, $20 weld. Thats what I did and have never had any problems. Megan header welded to OBX Y-pipe

 

Ha I figured someone would throw that idea out there. Ok I guess I might do that. Anyone else?

 

OEM with red gasket maker = leak free

 

Autozone will get my business tomorrow I guess!!! haha where can I get an OEM gasket besides the stealership because there's only a Toyota dealership hear in Cedar Rapids.

 

the sc300 and gs300 both share the same gasket for the y-pipe section to the headers, I'd assume the is300 would share the same gasket part number as well.

sewelllexus.com has a section where you can order parts online, though they dont have the is300 in there (not sure why), but you can find the gs300 and sc300 gaskets there and their prices

 

autozone and advanced also carry them

 

Sweet what do they call the gasket? or do you know the part #
