A closed post above discusses "Angel Eyes". The pictures contained in this post got me curious. To see the effect I assume it has to be dark. I also assume that if it is dark the headlights would be on and the effect would no longer be visible. If this is so, when is this mod intended to be used as there seems to be a contradiction here? What am I missing?

 

well if you look at the new 5 series and 7 series bimmers they have them.. they can used as Daytime Running Lites, also you can see them with the headlites on.. they are pretty bright..

 

why are these guys trying so hard to make their Lexus look like a BMW??

 

They stay on while the headlights are on, and turn on when the parking lights are on.. my guess.
