Hi guys, I'm very new to CL, recently bought the car no longer than 3 weeks ago, i was doing some DIY black housing and accidentally burned my head lights... Yeah fail.. but anyways i was looking on ebay and found some eye catching stuff plus i saw a lot of these out there, just want some input on these ebay lights... Thank you for your advice! It will be mostly appreciated

Welcome to CL, I definitely wouldnt buy them but purchase what ever makes you happy because it is your car. Headlights like that are notorious for going out.

Most retrofits are done custom but im pretty sure you can buy a set. Like replacing the stock lights with LS430 or Q45 projectors.

Never buy lights off ebay. They have horrible output compared to stock, aren't DOT certified, and have crappy quality in the long run. Think about it, these aren't something that are for looks, this is your visibility at night, your safety, and others safety on the road. Pay to get the OEM ones. They look better, DOT certified, last 10000000000000x longer, and have better output.

^^ Wow those ones the badhaabit posted are less expensive that OEM! They look pretty good too..

But being less expensive than OEM, i don't know if that's a good thing. Like ajh said, buying ebay stuff is a gamble..

I have had an experience with buy DEPO headlights and those were amazing replacements. they looked good and had great output. also, they were DOT approved.
