Default wheel offset

i just bought new tires 3 months ago. now that i am lowering my IS i want new wheels. but dont want to spend more money on new rubber. if i go with a 17x7 or 17x7.5 what is the best offset to get to make them look flush or close to flush...

17x7.5 and u want flush??? You would want something will a higher with like maybe 8-10 width and then look at the offsets my opinion would be 17x9.5 +30 and roll your fenders. But thats just me.

You can get some wheel widths 8-9 inches wide. Low 30's to to be on the safe side as far as offsets go. Depending on the look you're trying to achieve, you will need to do some fender modifications.

You can fit 215/45/17 on up to 10 inch widths (stretching).

A 215 on a 10 inch wide wheel hmmm... thats pushing it. But flush is not going to be achieved with 7 or 7.5s. It took me 10s in the rear and 9s in the front to achieve flush status

Yeah around a +35 you might not have to roll the quarter

Ok so xxr makes the wheels I want. The 8" for the front comes in a +35 & +42 offset and the 9" comes in a +42 & +25 offset.

id get the 8 in +35 and u can run the 9 +25 with a 235-40-17 just need to roll or shave the fenders

if u opt for a stretch tire in the rear u can run a 225/45 or 215/40 its really up to u
