hi, im new here, in wanted to get some info pros/cons of a rear mounted turbo on my 2001 IS. thanks

Why? Turbo manifolds work and are cheap and readily available. You don't have engine bay space constraints.

I do not think there is a reason to do a rear mounted turbo on an IS. Everyone that I have seen is done do to contraints in the engine bay. The ISF turbo and corvettes are done this way due to engine bay issues

thanks for the info. Well in that case I have a turbo, wht else n brands do i need to complete my turbo kit for my IS?

well what are the components for a turbo kit? if you dont know you should just take your car to a professional

on top of that from what i understand is there are some engine internals that should be upgraded prior to going boost....if you want your engine to last long anyway
