Default trac and vsc light

i am curious as to why my TRAC and VSC light are staying on? could the actual button be bad. i could care less because i usually have more fun with the trac off anyway but i dont like the lights staying on on my cluster. any help would be greatly appreciated as to a starting point to find the problem.

Are you running on aftermarket headers?

It's probably your 02 sensors.

bank 1 sensor 2 and bank 2 sensor 2. Go get your car scanned for codes.

I have my lights on as well but that's because I am cat less without any 02 sims.

stock exhaust, yes it has an b2s2 heater failure code but i can clear that and the trac and vsc light stay on. it takes about a day for the cel to come back on. oh and on my other IS i have a header and no cats but i run a spark plug non-fouler in the secondary 02 bungs and screw my 02 sensors in them. . . no cel. as long as the ecu see's a difference between primary and secondary then it thinks there is a converter.
