When I drive slow the car jerks into second gear.. When I drive a little faster its smooth into second gear? I have no idea what this is, has anyone else had this problem? Could this be something other that the transm?

 

A lot of is3's jerk into 2nd gear, mostly when cold. It's not uncommon though to experience a jerk to 2nd in these cars. It's the low rpm that makes them so jerky. I've remedied this by shifting on the limiter.

 

yupp same problem here ! i notice every time im driving slow(about 40 mph or so) it will jerk into the next gear ... nothing to worry about

 

Mine does it too. Mostly when its cold. But the harder I drive it the smoother it shifts.

 

Same with me. I just let my car warm up or something and it drives fine.

 

same exact thing happen to me. My car also jerk very hard when I first start it and shift it to gear R. Just warm up the car before you move it.
