double din install w/ metra?
can anyone help me with my install, i just bought a sony double din (not a fancy navi like you snobs :P)
and as package deal it came w/ metra dash kit for is300(i know its not the best but should work)
and scoche wiring harness
anyway, can someone post pics of it in their cars i know some one should have fairly simular set up
also i bought my stuff from sonicelectronics, very easy to naviagte and has best deals, from cheap chinese headunits to $1+k navi dvd double dins,
and as package deal it came w/ metra dash kit for is300(i know its not the best but should work)
and scoche wiring harness
anyway, can someone post pics of it in their cars i know some one should have fairly simular set up

Word on the street is that the Metra double din is garbage, look for JDM.
I don't know from personal experience, just what I've heard...
I worked for sonic's suppler for a couple years.
Would you believe that the 2 owners of sonic electronics are only like 25 years old!!

i can actually believe that, i am 19 now, and its great thing they doing, i just wish i could think of something like that
and also compared to other they offer wide array of products from $60 cd players that read mp3(people ask that much for old beat up pos headunits on cl) to sub and amp combos for good deal
and shipping is free, there are just well planned
where do i get the jdm kit at, send me a link dawg :P

Oh i'm not sure, I don't even have a double din unit. Fail.... I know.. 
I think you will easily find one in the classifieds section here or on My.IS though

for the JDM dash kit you could reach out to Nigel or Carson Toyota both are vendors on CL and MY.is forums
