Default XB -> IS coilovers??

Hi all
new to the forum and new to this model car soon
was wondering kind of a dumb question: someone told me 08 XB coilovers will fit on my 02 IS.. can anyone confirm this?

What if they did?

Why would you consider getting xB coilovers when the IS has a whole line-up of suspension parts available to it?

because someone has a pair of aftermarket i could use... the car im getting could use a new set and this would hold me over until i could get a good set

Hah! Sounds like they're just trying to get you to buy it from them. I would stick with coilovers made for the correct application.

I doubt it but even if they did the shock internals wouldn't match. Both cars weigh something totally different from one another which is definitely a factor. If you're looking to buy inexpensive coils look for used IS coils or buy Stance or Megan coils for $800 new.

i wouldn't get the xB coilovers, i think they are just pulling your leg and trying to get you to buy them. Invest in some nice coils or lowering springs that are actually for the IS

even if they fit on IS i would nvr put them on.
because of different weights of two cars u will probably run into more problems...

can occasionally find tien basic coilovers for $400-$600 price range

Speaking of putting Scion parts on Lexus.......

I would rock Scion TRD 18x7.5 rims though!!

I saw some 5x114.3 before
maybe it was a different trd wheel
but it looked very similar to these
