Default tire size help

hi i was wondering if tires size 245/45/17 falken azenis fit a 01 is300 stock rim thanks

yes they will fit, just have a little taller sidewall than the stock 215/45/17, but as long as the car is stock height then I do not see any clearance issues.

The overall diameter will grow about an inch throwing the speedometer off just a bit. That size may be on the large side for that wheel width, 17x7 correct?

yea i think its 17x7 im running stock height also. thanks for the quick reply guys

yea haha where was i at. the tires are going to be too wide for the stock wheels.

245/35/17 will probably work, but then you are talking about an oddball size tire and out the a** in price.

yea i would just stick with stock, much easier plus there really isn't any reason to put on bigger tires or mess up your spedo calibration unless you are going with different wheels.
