I cleaned and detailed my IS300 today here are some pictures. I bought it December 10, 2009 with 95,635 miles, as of today August 22, 2010 it has 103,266 miles
I wish mine had the black interior... mine has the cream tan color and is hard to keep clean =(
yea tan sucks, especially if your like me and are an auto mechanic. there is no way i could keep tan clean lol. my brothers wife's 01 is300 came white with tan suede/leather interior, and my brother converted all the interior over to full leather black interior, looks much nicer now.
to everyone here on CL, this saturday I am finally doing the timing belt, drive belt, cam seals, crank seal, plugs, and wires, and etc...(90K Maint.) I am going to try my best to get pictures and write down step by step how to do it and put a DIY up next week.
Clean!!!!!!!! I need to clean my IS!! I went on a road trip and have bunch of dead flies on my front bumper -_-
haha thanks man. one downfall to the summer time bugs on the front bumper but with a little scrubbing and elbow grease they come off lol, just takes time.
So clean, man !!... I saw Lexus, Infinity, and two old men behind your IS ???
hahah, the one right behind the IS is a 1967 Pontiac Bonneville which I just sold to my cousin, The one in the garage under the cover is a 1969 Dodge Charger 383 4-speed(needs total restoration) and I also own a fully restored 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass. I love american muscle and imports too lol. I also have a 1999 Electron Blue Pearl Honda Civic Si(all stock) i'm not into modding honda's, although that seems to be the thing in my town unfortunately. 77,600 original miles, once I get it painted it will be my dd so I don't put so many miles on the IS300
Very cool bro, dam that thing is super clean!!
How long did it take to clean everything?
And I'm soo jealous you have manual transmission!!
thanks man, took about 6 hours to do it all haha took me a while and of course now it's dirty again and needs cleaned again. manual transmission in the IS IMO rock, i love it, you could always look for a manual swap for yours or sell yours to get a manual IS, but with all the time and money invested in yours i would look for a nice M/T swap.

good deal. car looks clean.
by "wires" i assume you mean spark plug wires. there are none for the IS.
