I currently have a 2001 is300. My front driver side headlight went out and I thought a simple change of the light bulb would fix the problem. Turns out its not a bulb issue. The dealer said it was the "headlight module" and quoted me $600 for parts nad $200 for labor. ouch! Can somebody please tell me the exact name for this part so I can find it some where else instead of paying $600? Thank you

 

Its the hid ballast that is mounted on the headlight assembly.. you can find one off of a wrecked IS or just buy a headlight assembly
