Default finally making progress!!!

So i started working today on the lowering and wheels on my IS. I had these 17s laying around and they are for temp use although i kinda like it lolz. but after all is said and done it is dropped 2 1/2 in the front and 3 1/2 in the rear. I gotta get some 18s now but its a start and im finally liking the direction.

sorry about pic quality my phones not the best...

Interesting idea on the neon orange wheels.

Are you missing lug nuts?

I'm actually liking it A LOT compared to the last couple sets of wheels..

I agree with 03Lex on lowering the front a little, the rear looks lower even with the car just sitting still. Just think about how it will look when you accelerate from a start, the rear naturally dip even lower when you accelerate..

And I agree that you should get some thinner tires if you keep these wheels.

Dude your baby is improving A LOT!!
congrats!

llllllll thanks and i lowered it another inch up front today lolz. Im feeling it way more now that its in the dirt. once i get some IS250 wheels it should be hot.

saurah yes these are a set of drift wheels that were laying around and after driving it today im starting to feel the color. and it was missing lug nuts but i fixed that problem today.

03Lex after i dropped the front another inch i had to roll the fenders but it fits good no rubbing and i have a full turning radius which is a plus. Im thinking i need spacers to get the fitment i want now

nice work, looks good, i bet it looks even better lower in the front, and im sure you did a nice job rolling the fenders so you have a whole turning radius. i need to get pictures of my ride up here soon, just need to get like a photobucket account or something so i can insert my photos here in this forum. but my car is an 03 is300 msm 5 speed and lsd, and i got some nice mods. i will be doing that soon so i can upload pics.

You can upload them straight off of my pictures. All i do is take a pic on my celly, hook it up to the ol laptop, and upload pictures from my pictured to the thread....Love your car by the way. wish i had a 5speed so my swap would be easier, but i also ennjoy cruising right now.

Thanks everybody for the love. The wheels are taking longer than i thought because removing spray paint is a B****! but they are painted now and i will have them tomorrow so i will post new pics. Im kinda curious how actual paint will hold up on wheels?? Its way cheaper because of some people i know who paint and i mix paint soo... worth a shot..
