Default Anyone else have problems with auto headlights not turning off???

I have a 2001 IS300 and i have a problem where unless all doors are completely closed, my automatic headlights won't shut off. There have already been like 5 times where i didn't realize that the door wasn't closed all the way that this has killed my battery overnight. Is this normal for all IS300's?? if it is, is there any way to disable this feature???

Just manually turn off your headlights with your car is off. Don't leave it in "auto" mode. Weird though, that it doesn't automatically turn off.

I go a week or so sometimes without driving my IS and if left in auto mod the headlights can drain the battery a little. I remember when I first found that out with my SC about 7 yrs ago reading the manual.

this is kind of an old thread, but I'm having a problem with the automatic lights. They used to turn off when I would lock the doors twice with the clicker, now they stay on.
any idea's why?

It was working, I would leave them on auto and when I got out, I would click the remote twice. Once to lock then another time to lock and turn the lights off. Now, when I try, it just locks and locks but the lights stay on.
