Nope. Just do it right and you won't have problems. Second set in 4 years over 2 IS300's and no issues.

man it needs a wax sooooo bad. My detailer does a great job but he's been on medical leave for 6 months so I've just been waiting for him to come back lol.

I'll find a pic of my other is300 wet and show you how good a job he does. Man I hope he comes back soon. This thing hasn't been waxed in almost a year now. (9 months)
