Does anyone know how hot headlight housings can get? I am guessing not that hot...shouldn't exceed over 200 degrees right?

I am planning on painting my fogs and headlight housings and noticed that the clear coat I have says not to apply if piece exceeds over 200 degrees....

Thoughts anyone?

 

Maybe I am just trippin with this question....there's no way headlights can heat up to 200 inside right?

 

Hot, but not hot enough. Paint it whatever you like.
