not new here, but just got another lexus. Bought my wife a '01 diamond white pearl with tan suede. Its all stock except for 28% tint and today i put in an amp and sub, but thats all im doing to it. Should be buying myself a GS300 in the next 2 weeks...

its going to be my wifes daily driver car. She asked already for rims, and i told her whatever SHE pays for she can do to it lol.
the car has cf tint, and i did put in an amp and a 12" in it, but thats about as far as im doing.

Next week i should be buying myself a GS300, this is the one i have my eye on, if i get this one she may get these wheels and im going to put staggered ones on it

well thanks, i joined a year ago when i had my sc300, but i usually just read and not post. there is a ridiculous amount of info on this site compared to some others that i look at

 

I take it the SC is gone? or is your garage quickly becoming an older Lexus dealership?

I sold the SC a while ago to do some stuff i wanted to do to my house, laminate floors and new furniture and things. Ive said since before then that i would def have another lexus though. Its a great time to buy cars if you have the opportunity, so I'm buying 2 lol.

 

when i had my car engine rebuilt, lexus of nashville let me have the rent a car.. it was a 09 GS350.. OMG, i totally fell in love with the GS350.. i mean everything about it, power wise, interior, so comfy... i wish i could get one.. but down deep in my heart.. i have a thang for IS300's.. and i love my car with every minute of it.. =o].. but the power-wise sucks when coming from a built kenne bell s/c ford lightning with 600hp to a lil inline-6 is300... i just did it for the looks, and sport luxury.. haha.. but, i do miss all the power and torque to play with... will eventually get another lightning one day!..

i hear ya on that, i had a silver 01 Lightning, nothing like it. But if you want to carry more than two people or get more than 11mpg... She had to go when 93 got up to $4.50-ish a gallon around here, gas payment was too much for me. And she was still a baby, only 29k miles when i sold her

 

yea... thats the reason i sold it too.. gas mileage was 5-8mpg.. gas prices to high.. Mine was an 03 White L. it won 2 car shows and everything! mine has 31,000 miles before i sold it. i will get a another one in the future tho.
