ok, so yesterday i got a couple shots of my car here at the garden of the gods park in colorado. i was editing the colors in the pics today and noticed something.

was my car lowered before i purchased it last year?

the car seems to scrape on speed bumps and seems much lower than my previous car(which was on eibachs and tokicos)

Damn that sounds nice, I need to start modding my IS.

Have you looked at your springs?

i never thought to check if there were aftermarket suspension on it when the wheels were off. just saw that pic today and made me wonder.

 

yes it is lowered. just put your head next to your muffler you will see spring and shocks

i dont know. i bought the care partially modified, so im still figuring out what parts the previous owner installed. i just noticed yesterday that it sat lower than a stock is300, thus i posed the question here.

it looks like mine did. i didnt think about mine til about two weeks after i got it, and realized it, my springs were h & r springs and they looked stock but wasnt. but it looks exactly like mine. so yea its dropped about 1.5-1.7 i'd say. looks good tho man

i looked under the car today the shocks are black with a pink stripe along the bottom of the unit. the springs are black...didnt see any logos.

but how fun! it looks like i did get a good deal...first i figure out i have the LSD now the lowering!

 

join the crowd... found out the other day when i done my service i had lsd..... just make sure you got a camber kit....

 

You have a 1 inch drop in the front and a 1.3 in the rear.
