Default cant get rotors off???

So I tried to install my rotors today got the calipers off, and I couldn't get the rotors off after... I tried tapping it lightly with a hammer and then I used a piece of wood and then hammer it medium strength (not that strong don't wanna hurt the car) I know theres a part where u can screw it in... But it looks rusted out... Anybody know what size the screw is?

If your replacing the rotors just pound it with a hammer, it should pop right off. You won't damage anything but the rotor. Not sure what size the screw is.

Blade, I went to my tool box to check since I posted something I was not sure about. I have 2 in my box, they are 8mm x 1.0 (12mm head) with flat end, not the sharp, pointed end.

thanks for the clarafication! It's a flat head screw? or a bolt type? I think i might buy a pointy one first to see if i can drill through the rust...

a bolt is what you want. just spray some pb blaster or use anti seize on the bolt to work it in

spray the hole with pb blaster then put antiseize on the bolt and work it in there. Clean the rotor afterwards.

I GOT an M8- 1.0 x 50mm bolt i tried fitting it it seems too big... should i try bolting it in?

edit: so I got 8mm x 1.25 and that apparently is the correct threats for it.... So maybe i bought the wrong one from home depot
