a tip i learned today, may help new owners
not sure how many of you are recent owners, but im seeing an increase. but if you hate the tint that your previously owned is came with here are somet tips:
1.) use a heat gun to warm the tint before removal(not necessary, but helpful)
2.) get a razorblade(not a mach 3, but an actual razor blade) and remove the old tint
3.) goto walmart they have a tint remover spray that is in the automotive section....use liberally keep the window you are working on soaked with this stuff.
4.) lots of elbow grease
5.) use an amonia based window cleaner, i used windex.(clean the outside of the window, then keep working at the inside until its perfectly clear.
i just finished this task on mine due the fact that the previous owners smoking habits were emitting from the tint.
no tint, and clean cabin filter and im set!
