My daylight running lights are not working when the switch is set to auto and my high beams aren't working i changed the the entire lightswitch thinkin that was the issue but still the same thing. i checked all fuses and all relays. can any one tell me what can be wrong? i heard from other people it can be the resisitor or the running light relay box. but where are those units located? please HELP I HATE HAVING ISSUES WITH MY CAR.

the DRL box is mounted on the passenger side shock tower...
looks like a vented black box approx 2" sq x 3/4" tall
it's really just a giant resistor
lots of guys have unplugged it so as to run w/o daytime running lights
some have jumped it so as to run the DRLs at "full" power
