anyone know why
mycar got rebuilt title
so i dont feel like get rippin off by dealer

u mean ur spedometer doesnt work then ... that just means u need it calibrated ... simple proceedure, but i think u do need a mechanic to do it ... doesnt have to be lexus tho

The IS actually has a speed sensor, not a cable like older cars. It may just be a bad sensor.

you def need a new speed senor. shouldn't be that expensive or that involved. did you buy the car yet? if not make the dealer fix it.

couldnt tell you how much it cost, only think i could tell you is go to your nearest lexus dealer. Personally a part like that i would get orginal oem equipment. There's always you local autoparts store, some can get you oem equipment at half the price. Good luck
