Now, i dunno that much about SC's but how do they sound like? i never heard it before. or does it sound like a turbo? maybe i did and i dont know if i was a SC or not. can u guys tell me if there are differences between SC and TC ?? it sounds like a stupid question, and makes me sound dumb for asking, but i need to know if i decide to wait for the TRD SC coming out in next spring or just get a After market SC or TC!

 

Haha...its not a stupid question. Alright...here it goes....a supercharger makes a winding noise...where as the charger makes a spooling noise of air. You can make both of them put out excellent hp, it just depends on what you want. There is less maintance with the SC though. Not only that but with a supercharger your power is always there becuase it is always turning....whereas with a turbo sometimes you can have turbo lag. I have never had a turbo or sc on an lexus, but I have on my other cars. I liked the turbo better because it was easier to pull more power out of it.

I guess its just a matter of taste. I will try and get you some sounds of a charger going vs a turbo. I hope this helps out!
