Wow there was some tv show on espn covering the "Mothers' car show". I dont recall what color it was, yellow maybe, but it had this ugly *** carbon fiber hood. It had a "bodykit air frated from Japan" and TRD metric gauges inside they said. It also had some chrome rims "for show", the guy said 280-290 horsepower with an area 51 supercharger and an "intercooler and the works". What made me puke was the honda style spoiler on the rear. The car just looked like a honda, <shudders> The guy badged it as an altezza to be a bad @$$ too.... It won some award at the car show too.....

 

damn I did not think the A51 setyups came with Intercoolers...hmm... I wonder.. wher was the show from? what state?

 

do we have a hater in the house? haha...i was never a fan of carbon fiber hoods on a honda maybe. but hey, what do you guys think of a vented hood? the one from area51...im thinking about it

 

brian, i think dave said it was custom and that they are working on an intercooler for the kit (and it maybe be a water type? i think he said that or someone else did)...

I dont think it was an A51 intercooler...The guy said he had an Area51 supercharger and he had an intercooler on the car....

Tvguide listings said it was the "Mother's Car Show in Las Vegas. "

I dont know the type of the spoiler but it was definitely stupid looking. It the kind that is attached to the trunk with what looks like thin metal wires/columns.....It must be a racing spoiler...Pardon me for my ignorance on spoilers, i am not very knowledgable on them.....

 

I just realized it isnt called a spoiler it is a "wing."

haha....i hate those wings! You are right about them not even working until about 195 mph. I have seen some that look alright..but not that one!

 

i have those wings on my Porsche 911 turbo, Nissan Skyline R-34, and Mercedes S500......they look sweet. oh, they are RC bodies of course, not real cars.
