HEY EVERYONE..........I HEARD A RUMOR THAT THE TIRES ON THE IS300 ARE BEING RECALLED........IS THAT TRUE..........CUS I KNOW THEY HAD IT FOR THE GS400 LAST YEAR BUT I JUST WANNA MAKE SURE............THANKS=)

 

Yes there is a recall for all the 215/45 ZR17 tires. I just got the letter in the mail about them. It seems that the engineers have found the presence of "Bulges" in the sidewalls. So what Lexus is gonna do is replace AT NO CHARGE ( doesn't that just sound good? ) all 4 tires including the spare for all IS 300's that still have the new car tire warranty in effect. So if you just purchased your car not to long ago, you might want to check it out.

 

no its not for all is 300's.It is for bridgestone tires only with caa on the d.o.t part on the sidewall

 

umm.. wrong.. i got my letter today and I have GoodYear tires and the dealer said they would replace all of them at no charge.!! hehe and i needed new tires also. The appointment is set for Dec 3rd.
