have not had the need to clean the escaine, however the leather portions get a good dose of lexol each week.

I don't know much about what Ecsaine is made of, but from what I understand, it's a type of synthetic suede that is supposed to be pretty low maintenance. I'm just going to use a very soft suede brush to brush off any dirt and raise the nap every now and then and use the cleaner only if something spills on it. I don't know if it needs "conditioning."

As far as the leather goes, there are many quality products out there for cleaning and conditioning, Lexol probably being the most widely known and used. The quality conditioners are pretty much made of the same stuff and do the same thing, they nurture the leather so that it doesn't crack and fade over time.

With the leather conditioner, you may want to exercise some moderation both in amount and frequency. If the leather ever becomes saturated it will have no place to go and stay on the surface, getting all over everything that comes in contact with it.

For the escaine, I just vacuum weekly.

For the leather, I wipe down w/a damp chamois weekly and then use Lexol conditioner once a month or every other month depending on how often passengers are in the car.
