Default New Ride

Heya Peeps,

I am gonna be purchasing an IS300 in the near future and I am wondering what you guys suggest for mileage on a car that will be upgraded. Will I have to completely rebuild the motor or is it pretty much just plug and play depending on what kit I get. I am brand new to this so please bare with me lol. Any suggestions will be most helpful. I am looking on spending about 30k or so on my ride with upgrades. Will I need to get new tranny as well? Please help me out peeps! Gotta kick my bros stock STIs *** when he gets it! Thanks

major work bro?

Milage isnt a huge deal however you can find a nice IS with around 40K miles that would be perfect for modding. As for your bro's STOCK sti. if you have 30k to spend buy an IS for around 18k and drop 12k in to a kick *** custom turbo kit and a nice set of wide wheels for the back to launch the **** out of. You would push anywhere from 300-330 to the wheels and would whoop the **** out of that sti. IS300T > sTi
