Driven most of the time at moderate acceleration and at flow of traffic +5-10 mph, I average 360 miles before fill-up... I always seem to punch up the MPG numbers on my cell phone calculator and it's been pretty consistant at 22-23 MPG combined and on long highway trips 25-27 MPG.

Hope that helps.

I am a little confused. I am from Canada and we dont use miles. So do u get 280-320 miles or kilometers? If it is miles, then it would convert to about 450-514 kms per tank. If thats the case thats not that bad mileage

I used to be able to do that, but then I installed an exhaust and intake. Now I have a lead foot.

Default 23mpg?

My 2006 is350 gets 26-27 mpg on the freeway at 75mph but my city is like 18 that's crazy that a lighter car and less powerful car has the same mpg, I would opt to get a 350 if I were you

'01 IS300 auto with 197k miles, averaging about 21 MPG.

Been tracking it on fuelly.com

Might want to check on that site to see what other people have been averaging.

^ I'm about the same. 2003 Auto, averaging around 21 with suburban driving. So 75% city, 25% highway

I've had my IS300 Manual for almost a year now and I'm consistently getting 18-19mpg combined HWY/CITY. The low fuel light comes on at about 280mi from completely full tank.

Best I've been able to do was 23mpg with almost all HWY driving.

I only run top tier 93. I do have to admit that I run her pretty hard. The short gearing of the W55 doesn't do me any favors.

I have a '99 Sc300 and it gets decent gas mileage. I do mostly freeway driving though. I'm looking into getting an Is300

The 2jzge is by far not economical. Average on a well maintained motor 15-18 in the streets. And up to 25ish on highway is what I usually see

I can get about 300 miles/tank from my 2001 with 213K on the odometer. A 6 cylinder car will always burn more fuel than a 4 cylinder, so that's a big part of it.
Before this car I was a BMW guy...I had a 325is with an inline 6...I then sold it and went down to a 318ic with a 4-cylinder because I wanted more gas mileage; at the time regular was almost $3/gallon and that was for regular. I had to use mid-grade and my daily commute was 30 miles in either direction...I was spending about $100/week in fuel.
I've since changed jobs, cities, and vehicles. Fuel is cheaper in New Orleans than Atlanta, and I have a company vehicle which means my car is only used in the evenings. I can go 2 weeks before refueling.
These cars aren't the most fuel sipping vehicles in the world, and they aren't meant to be. But it's still not bad.
I guess it would boil down to your personal situation...
