I will post my dyno chart soon... the curve was very impressive. Ive also done things for additional power after that dyno session... where I could tell the difference. I will have a new dyno session soon but I would think I gained another 10-15 rear wheel hp. If my car dynoed at 265 to the wheels then that would translate to roughly 323 hp to the flywheel. The new M3 weighs about 3400lbs with 333hp and my IS300 is about 3200lbs with 323hp. With a A51 stage 1 supercharger you WILL NOT beat an M3. You will be hanging with it for sure though... Head to head... Go to stage 2 and you can say goodbye to the M3
very impressive!

any pics?

So it's about 80rwhp gain right.

Is there any way to upgrade a supercharger system? Like I've heard changing the pulleys and belts on a supercharger system can increase performance BIGTIME. Do you know if this is possible?

I got roughly 85 rear wheel hp gain from stock. No pics yet but I will take some and post them up here soon. My car is also going to be in Turbo Magazine.

And Yes.. You can upgrade your supercharger and It is in the works for me. In about a month here I will be going to stage 2. The pulley will be changed to up the boost and I will also be getting an aftercooler... and Im sure some other things.

Unless they lower the price for the M3 (no more than MSRP), I wouldn't buy another one. It has so many freaking problems (my 97 M3, sold already).

My friend bought the new M3 and he paid 75k out of door. For 75k, I'd rather pick up a M5, or Supra with lots of mod, says at least 1000 hp. It will kick M3's butt everyday.

remember to tell me which issue it'll be in (or it's gonna be on the cover? )

So stage 1 and 2 uses the same supercharger, but it's the little peripherals you change that makes it stage 2? (pulleys, higher boost, aftercooler, etc. etc.?) basically i don't have to replace the SC unit right.

exactly.

I think someone on this board mentioned that someone paid 100k for a new M3! 2 words: stupid a$$.

I mean, I wouldn't pay 75k for a 3 series. I can get a GS300 with 42k and spend the 33k leftover on mods and white M3 M5 M8 Mwhatever.

Im not sure what issue it will be in but Ill let you guys know when I do. I dont know how big the article will be but I heard that they took quite a few photos

Yes.. you wouldnt have to replace the unit itself. It is good for a lot more hp than Ill ever run on my engine

sounds good.

One thing that keeps me away from superchargers and more into turbos it that fact that I didn't know if I can get a certain stage supercharger and upgrade individual parts later to achieve more power.

How much HP is that SC good for?

PICS!

does Area 51 have a website?

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh OK, I did not know you have a supercharger. WOW! that's impressive. Even with a supercharger. How Much hp? Do you run the stock ecu or did you go with a stand alone?

Congrats

Now that's a different story. Seeing the numbers on your car makes sense that the M3 could not leave you behind. How is the SC holding? How many miles do you have on it since you had the SC installed? How is your gas consumption aside from flooring the pedals? Sorry for all the questions but I just want to shop around for an SC. If you do see another M3 put him up for a challenge for me Also, don't forget to smile while doing it. It makes the owner go crazy. Down with the beemers!
