I say go for it a big reason for these cars being totaled rather than fixed is because of the high prices to get new parts and paint especially a few years ago... The prices have gone down but say in 2013 it had a front end accident and the hood, 1 headlight and the bumper had to be replaced but there's no frame damage it might be totaled so there's nothing wrong with the car after its fixed (properly) so I say go for it
