ok..i understand your concern for everyones safety.. and i dont travel 130 more than once a day... haha.. but i stated that this was done on an open stretch of highway.. 2 lanes each way separated by a concrete median...we were also going downhill..so we could see everything in front of us....there were no other drivers ahead....

i dont want to get into this debate..cuz those who say its not safe...are correct..and i dont want to try and persuade you that it was safe.. when it technically wasn't.. but it was as safe as it could get w/o actually being on a track somewhere in bfe..

for those who are wondering what is done to my car.. SRT HFI, HKS Hiper exhaust, Tein HA coilovers.. those are pretty much it for performance.. i have HKS sways on order and a set of 18s...

so how does my car handle at 130.. handles like a dream... even at 140+ it feels like its one with the road..

the top speed is 143/144.. my car has hit 148 on the downhill..

 

i did 130 by myself, wiht no one in the car, and it was at night , at like 3 am...
no one was around..in the middle of the 210...no animals or nothin..
BUT i know that speeds like that are crazy and i dun think(after seeing those car wreck pics) that im just gonna go out and speed like that again..

i had a serious talk wiht lots of people i know and im just goin for looks in the IS300 now...ONLY looks, and maybe the air intake for sound , or exhaust for sound, but no racing ...

i mean, its one thing to think your a great driver, but its another thing to know when to say when...
as of right now, my top speed is only 85-90 on the freeway..
and that is max, i promised my gf that, so im gonna stick with it..

the only time i might try a high top speed is when i try to time my 1/4 on a track or something...other than that..proly not any time soon at all...

 

Where TiCal races it pretty isolated and guard rails prevent dumbasses from racing on the wrong side of the street like in LI. I got my car up to 144 chasing Tical and Ted920 one Friday up in CT so.. big deal.... Safety is all drivercentric. If you feel ur car isnt up to par at 50, 80 or 130mph.... you should slow the f'uck down. If you feel it running smooth and no potholes people or traffic to intervene.. then floor it!
