Default New Car!!!

I found out I don't have to get rid of my GS yet but I still needed a new car. So the past week I was searching for a new car. I looked a a 1999 White GS400, a 2002 Blue IS3, a 2002 Black GS430. The white GS had a few problems and too many miles, the Blue IS they SOLD when I came back to make a offer on it, and the GS430 was a little more then I had to spend on a car.

Then, yesterday, I pulled into the Lexus dealership and saw a 2002 Graphite Gray Pearl IS300. It had permium sound, the leather with the soft fuzzy inserts, factory LSD, HID, the tight fogs, AND it was a certified pre-owned so I got a 3 year bumper to bumper warrenty on it along with some other stuff.

That stuff is all great, but what sold me was the mileage... 48,420

Sign from god? I dunno.

Took it out for a drive, I was really impressed at how fast it was (I have a 94 GS anything is fast to me) the car's handling and steering was just so tight. The car was in amazing shape EXCEPT for the climate control unit which appeared to have had the bajesus scuffed out of it. I made an offer on the car, we talked price back and forth and settled for a great price. Then, because Lexus has the best dealership service for a reason, they replaced my ENTIRE climate control with a brand new unit!

C-c-cilmate control unit!

As my first actaul purchase from a dealership I have to say i'm really really happy. Lexus of Wayzata gets 2 thumps up from me!
