AS many of you may know it has been sometime I have been trying to decide on what FI kit to go with and after preliminary descision to go with XS, Mo from SRT has been kind enuff to offer me a sponsorship and I will be going with his SuperCharger Kit.... it will be a somewhat custom setup and my stage 1 will be a combo of his stage 3-4 kits and we are estimating 450rwhp. it is going in next week to get things started and we will be debuting my car at the M.I.R. race july21st in maryland... I appreciate all the help everyone has given me and support and info that jeff, james, Jon and gabe have offered and supplied me with. You guys rule and have helped me make this hard descision... I will be posting pics and posting info as it comes and hopefully we will be able to reacah my mark by next summer of 600-700 rwhp and single digits..

Good luck on the install. I know that the supercharger SRT is putting in your car is a technical masterpiece. My car will also be getting the same setup from SRT to replace what I currently have in my GS400. I cannot wait.

I dont think it would be a problem...Mike--- yeah the setup sounds very interesting and how he transformed it all to make it a SC I still would like to know.... cool when are you droppin off your car to get your SC installed? I am anxious to see what numbers we can put up with it and then take it to the next level and really make it a car,,,,for now I am jsut looking for sponsors and what not, and trying to save up for parts..
still need an LSD, race wheels slicks, then cave up for whatever else comes along..

I want to get it installed asap, or before the MIR on July 21. However I know mo is very buisy getting everything ready for the race. I am going up today to talk with him. I am doing the stage 2 chrome and tranni cooler, and trork converter. I am still trying to descide what to follow suit with. Tein coil overs? AP brakes? Wald body kit. I will probally do the coil overs then brakes and follow with the body kit.

Ryan, I am going with the HKS coils instead of the TEIN HA, also are you gettin the WALD kit also? It took me like 2 weeks of haggling to finally get them to sponsor my car but I had talked to mo and he said they had called him to verify info and that they were gonna sponsor me so I am stoked, wide body kit on this IS300 very soon...good luck with your car and I am sure I will see ya sooner than later......

Yea I am going to do the wald kit as well. I had chosen 3 kits the win kit the wald and the rod millen. Chose the Wald beacause of the flairs. Why did you go with the HKS instead of tein??
I figured I might as well do the trani cooler since we are doing the tork converter. It is one less thing to do and I know it won't hurt.

Yea your car seemed ok but I didn't know the starting part for a supercharger was removing the rear bumper and doors. hmm yea it was in one peice from what I saw.

umm you were joking right... there were doors on it ? lol I hope... the HKS has more adjust. 30 way instead of 16 and they look like they are better made... also i am going to try to get hooked up by HKS//////I dont know if it will werk or not but so far so good... SRT/WALD HKS would be nice and jsut need a wheel sponsor..

so when are you gettin yoru kit put on? and what are you lookin at for final numbers?

 

It all depends on time.. If mo gets all he has to do for july 21 then maybe I can slide in an show with you guys. If not we are looking late july early aug. As for numbers well I hope in the 13 for 1/4. I am gonna put my girl on the dyno before, and then after all the mods. I was even thinking about puting her on the dyno before my trac/ ecu upgrade fix. That way I can see if there is much change for any reason. It should all be in the transmision though.
