hey guys. I'm Filipino too, but like many of you I can only understand tagalog...and can't speak it. Well, I can do a bit, enough for basic conversation with a taxi driver or my relatives. I'm from Canada (BC to be exact) and was directed to this thread from here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/car...ippines-5.html
May test drive kami this Saturday (ako at ang tatay ko and probably a friend na rin) so it would be our first time to experience what it feels like to be in a Lexus vehicle (or vehicles kasi balak namin i-test drive parehas ang GS 460 at saka ang IS 300).
A casual review from me would follow suit after.
P.S.
Walang LS 460 L test drive kasi wala pang conduction sticker ang unit na iyon (next month pa raw ibibigay ng LTO). Nevertheless, the IS 300 and GS 460 would be more than enough for us hehe........
Was never aware of the large Filipino population we got going on here till I saw the post from Flipside who I knew was Filipino, kumusta kayo from NYC! I can speak and understand Tagalog because Lola couldn't speak English so I had to learn but can't write I guess that's what happens when your born here. I'm also 1/2 Ilocano but I don't know how to speak or understand that at all! My dad never taught me how.
