problem regarding Lexus GS450H 2013 (European)

I started to dig into techstream after problems with rich fuel trims ( on direct injection -8% -10%)

after.researching and changing bunch of parts I suddenly came accross very strange thing..

in Active test (All cylinder fuel cut) when I activate it car starts to choke.. about 2-3 Sec of choking (revs fall belliw 200-300) car suddenly starts to get back ro life.. engine continue to work.. no missfire.. nothing . ) but engine sounds strange.. its not missfire.. its like under huge load.

Can you please tell me what does it mean ? which part is activated during this test and what doesnt do the job it must do..

As I understand and as I read in techstream manual.. during this test car must stall.. engine must shut down

When you cut fuel to the cylinders, what else do you expect to happen?

 

it should stall no? it continues to work after choking .. 2-3 sec. of choking ant then it gets back to life.. without turning off fuel cut..

 

I'd start with a smoke machine test.

Could be that the test only affects either the port or direct injection.
