Default Engine shutoff GX460

I purchased a new 2015 last month and have less than 700 miles on it. Thus far I love the vehicle. However, last night, I had just left my driveway and was proceeding at about 30 mph when I was forced to brake suddenly but not enough to come to a complete stop. The engine shutoff, so I put the vehicle in park and restarted. Anyone else experience this? Any cause to be concerned? Thanks in advance for any replies.

I reenacted the scenario you had and didn't have a shutoff. When you try again does it happen again?

Thank you for your efforts. Yes, I have tried more than a few times, and even with more abrupt/harder braking. But the result (fortunately) has not reoccurred.

Was your fuel close to empty? Curious if sudden stop caused all the fuel to move to the front of the fuel tank so nothing was going into the fuel port.

I don't believe that was the case as I still have nearly half a tank currently. The good news is the problem has not reoccurred despite efforts to duplicate. I sort of wonder if the engine was not 'warned up' and may not have been idling high enough given I had recently left my driveway a minute earlier.

No, never had this happen on my 2010 or in my 2014. Have the dealer look at it.

Foot on brake....sudden stop....possible that you hit the START/STOP unintentionally?

You would have to hold the start stop button for 3 seconds, not likely.

Related problem? This can't be a coincidence.
Something is wrong here.
