Does anyone have NX450+ sales numbers or US allocation numbers? I am in the market for a NX450+ but haven't found one with the exact color combo I liked and am curious to see how many the US market is getting. Kinda helps me determine how picky I can be
I'm still miffed that Lexus wouldn't put more 450h+ into production than current numbers. Someone on another thread said all of Canada only got 1000 units. That's measly! For a car that would be entry into the future of automobile powertrains, the numbers are too low. And even then, you can't find them anywhere!
I hope someone in Toyotaland is listening and going to make the production number changes in order to meet the surging demand.
@edgeucated Your best bet is probably to just get your name and color preferences on customer interest lists at dealers who you're willing to work with (aka, how much markup you're willing to pay, if any). Either way, the dealers will have a sense by now of what they've been getting in and what they've been seeing for all inventory in the region, and how soon you might get what you want. If you get a good rapport with the salesperson, they might even have the manager look at everything incoming for the whole region or country. Also, you can typically preference a few colors, so you can decide at the time something comes up whether you want to take it or pass.
I would add that, if during your discussions with your preferred dealers, many are consistently telling you that your color combo is rare, you might add yourself to lists with some of the less preferable dealers anyway, especially if they aren't requiring a deposit. The markups they charge are definitely negotiable at the end of the day, because just like "the before times," they have numbers to hit and the market dynamics are different every day. Your rare color combo might even be something they don't consider to be in demand, so they might not expect as much of a markup, or the car could even come in and sit on their lot for several days, then they'll be calling you to make a deal.

agree with this statement, FTW!!! Supply line of these cars are at bottle neck and doesn't look like it will open up anytime soon before end of year 2022. Make a close contact at a local lexus shop and have at it!! Car is amazing!!!
Thanks for the advice guys. I have a deposit on an eminent white, rioja interior, and luxury package coming end of June.
Was cross shopping between the 450h+ and upcoming RZ. The allocation numbers for the RZ are quite low and I wanted to compare how hard it’ll be to get my hands on one compared to the current 450h+
I wanted an NX450h+ but believe it or not it was easier for me to locate and buy a 2022 RAV4 Prime than one of these. I don't understand why Toyota does significantly increase production of both and also add this same PHEV system in the Highlander, Camry and in various Lexus models. The people love it and want it so dammit Toyota just make it already.
