NX450h+ Regular or Premium Fuel?
Does anyone know if the 450h requires or recommends premium (91+ octane) fuel?
I've only found one thread that touches this topic and it seems to side with premium for the NX.
But, on the other hand, the Rav4 Prime takes 87 and it's the same power train?

In short, NX250 uses regular gas (87). NX350 requires premium, 350h and 450h recommends premium, but you can use as low as 87, but they claim there is performance decrease.
personally will fill up premium as it will take a while before I fill another tank, if one tank of gas last me 3 months then the savings won't be that much in a year. If you fill up once a week, maybe alternate. There has been lots of people saying 87 will work fine. It's all up to you.
As per manual:
NX250: Select octane rating of 87 (Research Octane Number 91) or higher. Use of unleaded gasoline with an octane rating lower than 87 may result in engine knocking. Persistent knocking can lead to engine damage.
NX350: Select premium unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 91 (Research Octane Number 96) or higher required for optimum engine performance and fuel economy. If the octane rating is less than 91, damage to the engine may occur and may void the vehicle warranty.
NX350h: Recommended to use premium unleaded gasoline with octane rating of 91 (Research Octane Number of 96) or higher for optimum engine performance. You may use unleaded gasoline with octane rating as low as 87 (Research Octane Number of 91). In this case, engine performance may be decreased. Use of unleaded gasoline with an octane rating lower than 87 may result in engine knocking. Persistent knocking can lead to engine damage.
NX450h+: Recommended to use premium unleaded gasoline with octane rating of 91 (Research OctaneNumber of 96) or higher for optimum engine performance. You may use unleaded gasoline with octane rating as low as 87 (Research Octane Number of 91). In this case, engine performance may be decreased.
