It either refers to the app or the credit-card shaped key you get as a backup 3rd/valet key. That physical key is card-shaped but not thin at all. It is probably 3 cards thick at the edges and 5 credit cards thick in the middle where it bulges more. I don't think anyone will leave it in their wallets to have handy.

 

Does the ambient lighting extend to the rear seats and rear doors?
The only pictures available show it in the front seat. I once drove an X3 with ambient lighting and my kids were the most enthralled with it...since it was in the back seats too. I want that in the NX.

i think the lighting is on the Back door console area. Not on seats. But the ambient lighting is not as bright as some other car companies. To me it was not that bright
